Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced law enforcement professional to join our team as a Police Sergeant. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have previously been a police officer and served with a UK Police Force but are not in receipt of their pension.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of investigators, working closely with colleagues to ensure the effective management of investigations and contributing to the development of strategies to tackle crime in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead a team of detectives in the investigation of crimes, ensuring that all investigative activities are conducted in accordance with force policies and procedures.
  • To work closely with colleagues across the force to share best practices and develop new approaches to tackling crime.
  • To contribute to the development of strategies to tackle crime in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, including identifying areas of high crime activity and developing plans to reduce it.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,428 - £44,559 per annum.

Requirements
  • A Competent Sergeant with PIP2 qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
