We are seeking experienced law enforcement professionals to lead our Investigation Teams in Hampshire County Council. This exciting opportunity is ideal for those who have previously served as a police officer and are looking to take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policing across a large area, including rural landscapes and densely populated cities.
  • Safeguarding critical national infrastructure sites, such as ports and oil refineries.

To be eligible, you must have completed the two-year probationary period, hold a PIP 2 certificate, and meet certain other criteria. Successful applicants will undergo a medical screening, vetting, and fitness test, and attend a one-week transferee course.

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience as a serving police officer in a Home Office force.
  • Holding a Policing Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of the promotions process, including work-based assessment.
  • Residency in the UK for three years prior to application.
  • No affiliation with the British National Party or similar organisations.
