Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to fill a Trainee SEND Lead position at our client school. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the school's Special Educational Needs provision and ensuring the best possible outcomes for their students.
As a Trainee SEND Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the school's SEND strategy, working closely with teachers, support staff, and external partners to create a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEND legislation and policy, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. You will be expected to complete assessments and EHCPs, and work collaboratively with the SLT to drive school improvement.
This is a permanent full-time position, commencing in January 2025. We offer a competitive salary, MPS3 - UPS3 TLR / SEN Point, and a supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfilling the role of a SEND Lead to the highest standard

- Working alongside a fantastic SLT
- Developing and implementing our SEND strategy
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and external partners

Our client school is an Outstanding Primary School located in the Borough of Ealing. They pride themselves on being a friendly and supportive community, with a successful and dedicated Senior Leadership Team. Their school has above average Progress 8 results, outdoor learning spaces, and a large and modern environment.
Person Specification:
We are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher who possesses a strong desire and passion towards supporting SEND pupils. The ideal candidate will hold the NASENCo qualification, UK QTS, and have been graded as good/outstanding in recent observations.
