We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to join our team at La Fosse's partner organisation. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of CAPEX projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage project finances, tracking expenditures and assisting with financial forecasting to maintain costs within budget.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, and regulatory paperwork.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external contractors to drive project success.
  • Identify and report potential project risks or issues, developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables by coordinating inspections and reviewing sites and contractors according to project requirements.
  • Present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management, highlighting progress and potential risks.

To be successful in this role, you will need over 2 years of experience in project management or CAPEX project support, preferably in construction, engineering, or a related field. You should have a proven track record of successfully managing construction, installation, and commissioning projects, particularly on roadsides, highways, or railways.

We are looking for a skilled professional who can effectively manage contractors and suppliers, with experience in NEC3/4 or similar contract frameworks. Knowledge of CDM regulations 2015 and prioritization of safety in site management and audits is also essential.
