About the Role:

As a Senior Care Assistant at Athena Care Homes, you will be responsible for leading and managing our care team to deliver high-quality care to our residents. You will play a key part in ensuring the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas of the home.

About the Home:

Athena Care Homes are a family-run business with seven homes across East Anglia. We have care homes in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Kings Lynn, and Ipswich. Our aim is to be the provider of choice for our residents and the employer of choice for our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the care team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas of the home.
  • Manage supervision, appraisal, and performance management of the care team.
  • Carry out enhanced clinical care duties, including clinical observations and monitoring urine output.

Requirements:

  • A passion for care.
  • Experience in a care position.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proven track record of leading, empowering, supporting, and motivating a team.
