After School Club Support Worker

We are seeking an individual to provide wraparound care for children at Folkestone Girls' School as part of our After School Club team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for children, facilitating their social and emotional development, and working collaboratively with the school team to provide high-quality care.
Skill Requirements:
- Establishing positive relationships with children
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Communicating effectively with children and colleagues
- Being enthusiastic and responsible
- Responding calmly and quickly to children's needs
- Adhering to school policies and guidelines
- Maintaining organized records
Working Hours:
This role requires a commitment of 3.20pm - 4.30pm on Mondays and 3.20pm - 6pm on Tuesdays to Fridays inclusive, term time only. Consideration may be given to fewer days, please specify on your application form.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
