- Business Alignment: Collaborate with Business teams to align financial models with business assumptions, ensuring that financial planning and forecasting are integrated into business decision-making.
- Forecast Cycles: Assist in running efficient and accurate forecast cycles, ensuring timely business decisions and effective use of resources.
- Solutions Development: Support the development of solutions to create a fast-moving CFO function, understanding the full forecasting process and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- User Support: Train, support, and develop model users, sharing best practices and providing task coverage to ensure effective use of the Financial Planning model.
- Risk Mitigation: Ensure timely business decisions in line with deadlines, supporting the Finance Team to mitigate risks from single points of failure.
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant with insurance/financial services experience, preferably with Big 4 experience.
- Technical Skills: Extensive Anaplan financial modelling experience, with proficiency in data structuring and experience with Tableau and Databricks beneficial.
- Agile Environment: Agile change environment experience, with ability to manage tasks quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Communication: Strong communicator, capable of explaining sophisticated topics to all partners, with highly organized and able to work across teams and environments while maintaining precision.
