Head of Medical Equipment Maintenance

Job Overview
The post holder will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of medical equipment, including complex and non-complex electro-medical devices and medical gas appliances. They will have the knowledge and skills to work independently with these devices, performing tasks such as service checks, PPM checks, safety checks, and calibration.
Main Duties
The post holder will plan and organise the calibration of test equipment used on complex and non-complex medical test equipment, including gas test measurement appliances. They will also be responsible for carrying out servicing and repairs of more complex medical equipment, such as defibrillators, multi-parameter monitoring equipment, and endoscopic equipment.
Person Specification
- Essential criteria: Qualifications (Degree, HND/HNC), Experience with repair, test or calibration of devices, UK driving license, Working with databases and quality systems
- Desirable criteria: Welsh speaker, Knowledge of ISO 9001 (or other) quality system
