Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Andy File Associates Ltd. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of work allocated to you.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. You will be physically fit, hold a clean driving license, and be IT literate, especially in the use of MS products and PDA reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain tasks using PDA software and advise line manager and scheduling department of any issues.
  • Ensure customers are contacted with ETA and keep them updated on any delays.
  • Carry out visual risk assessments and provide feedback on parts used.
  • Deliver good customer service and discuss recommendations onsite, including service plans and upgrade options.
  • Carry out monthly stock takes and on-the-job training as directed.

  • Salary base £28k-£31k, with potential for £32k with relevant experience.
