About the Role

We are seeking an experienced employment professional to join our Derby Jobs Employment and Skills Hub as a key specialist employment advisor. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Special Educational Needs (LDD/SEND) to maximize their independence through supported internships, work placements, or employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting adults with LDD/SEND into employment and education
  • Providing one-to-one support and guidance to individuals
  • Collaborating with employers to create inclusive work opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of supporting individuals with LDD/SEND into employment and education. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
