Job Title: Supported Employment Officer

We are seeking an experienced employment professional to join our Derby Jobs Employment and Skills Hub as a key specialist employment advisor.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to adults with Learning Disabilities/SEND to maximise their independence via the securing and sustaining of supported internships, work placements or employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support adults with LDD/SEND to secure and sustain employment
  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals to maximise their independence
  • Work with employers to create inclusive work opportunities
  • Collaborate with other agencies to provide a comprehensive support service
