We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our North Adult Acute In-patient management team as a Clinical Quality Assurance Manager for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities- Provide robust, consistent, practical and evidence-based day-to-day clinical and operational leadership and management support on George Ward and Eden Acute Ward.
- Work alongside the Matron and CNM and the rest of the multi-disciplinary team to participate in service improvements and evaluation.
- Manage and organise work as required and support managers to effectively deliver the enhanced monitoring implementation plan.
- Develop and deliver evidence-based practice for service users with complex needs, ensuring that it supports and reflects service user individual needs, Trust objectives and professional guidance.
- Lead on creating an environment that promotes critical reflection to improve care outcomes utilising evidence-based practice and embedding QI.
- Develop ways in which to receive service user and partner feedback and adapt service provision accordingly.
- Ensure that high quality care provision with highly complex service users and groups is provided.
- Ensure that the ward functions as an integral part of the Directorate's services.
- Effective communication with all relevant personnel both internal and external to the Trust.
- Practice within professional guidelines and promote professional practice in clinical area.
- Ensure continuous personal development through the utilisation of regular supervision, annual appraisal and training where appropriate.
- Maintain quality care provision within the service budget including rota management.
