Clinical Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Quality and Assurance Manager to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality and patient safety across our services.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide expert scrutiny and challenge to ensure that patients within the Learning Disability and Autism cohort are not unnecessarily admitted to hospital or remain in-patient inappropriately.
- Oversee local arrangements for Care (Education) and Treatment Reviews (C(E)TRs) and act as Chair of the C(E)TR Panel when required.
- Support the development of local processes to ensure compliance with national requirements for C(E)TRs, Local Area Emergency Protocol Meetings, and the Dynamic Support Register.
- Oversee the Children and Young People (CYP) inpatient cohort and report on progress to ensure timely discharges.
- Analyse system issues and challenges in the community and present findings to the LDA Board.

Person Specification
- RMN or RNLD with current UK NMC Registration
- Evidence of post-registration study and qualifications relevant to the role
- Evidence of undertaking monitoring and assurance in healthcare settings
