About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Taylor Woodrow, a leading infrastructure project delivery company. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our projects, working closely with our project teams to ensure financial objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Early Contractor Involvement phase of the project, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Lead procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best value for our clients.
  • Manage contractual risks, providing expert advice to the project team to mitigate potential issues.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure financial objectives are met and project milestones are achieved.
  • Prepare and negotiate valuations, final accounts, and variations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within large civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management best practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages.
