We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist - Community Outreach to join our team. As a key member of our Early Intervention for Psychosis team, you will deliver high-quality comprehensive mental health services within the community setting.

The post holder will contribute to the clinical leadership of the team, providing supervision for other members and participating in team/service development and evaluation. You will also work closely with outside agencies and teams to ensure effective well-rounded care is delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering CBT to individuals experiencing first-episode psychosis within the community setting
  • Providing specialist CBT assessment and treatment service for individuals, couples, families, carers, and groups city-wide
  • Maintaining appropriate clinical records in line with Livewell Southwest policy
  • Contributing to a programme of continual professional development for Insight and CBT providers across Livewell Southwest
  • Preparing and delivering CBT-P training across the SW Peninsula in partnership with Plymouth University
  • Contribution to a programme of continuing professional development for CBT provision across the organisation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An understanding of the principles of CBT and its application in a community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential clinical records
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and legislation

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including:
