Job Summary: Nursery Staff Member

We are seeking a skilled Nursery Staff Member to join our team of dedicated early years professionals. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to young children.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have a relevant level 3 or above childcare qualification and previous experience working with children. You will be passionate about making learning fun and engaging for each child and have excellent communication skills.

You will work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands. This includes maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and promoting their welfare, protection, health, and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS, by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities
  2. Supervise the children throughout the day, ensuring their safety
  3. Work as part of a larger team, to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands i.e. hygiene standards and room preparation
  4. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
