We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Workshop Practice Instructor.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and delivering workshop practice skills within the Faculty of Engineering with an emphasis on machining skills and/or welding & fabrication from Foundation Skills to SVQ3.

\
\

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Delivering high-quality skills training and education to students.\
  • Maintaining up-to-date skills in machining skills and/or welding & fabrication.\
  • Working closely with students to achieve their goals.\
\
\

Requirements:

\

A time-served industry-qualified operative from the engineering industry with significant expertise and up-to-date skills in their area.

\

An Assessor's and Verifier's award is advantageous but not necessary, as support will be provided if required.
