Job Title

In this role as a Clinical Assessment Specialist, you will be conducting assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will gather information by listening to their experiences, asking questions and using your insights to produce a factual report. The purpose of the report is to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine eligibility for benefits.

The salary for this position is £37,800 per annum, with Monday to Friday working hours available. This full-time role can also be offered on a part-time basis, with options for 3, 4 or 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments to gather information about a person's disability or health condition
  • Producing factual reports to help the DWP determine eligibility for benefits
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Requirements:

  • An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year or more broad post-registration experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Competent IT and computer skills
