The Role
We're seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and self-worth. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives, providing companionship, personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and household assistance.
Responsibilities
- Companionship: Provide friendly support and prevent loneliness in our clients' homes
- Personal Care: Assist with all aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring our clients maintain their dignity and comfort
- Medication Management: Collect prescriptions, provide reminders, and assist with medication administration
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals that cater to our clients' dietary needs and preferences
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and comfortable living environment for our clients
- Mobility Assistance: Support our clients with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Requirements
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Interpersonal Skills: Build trust and rapport with clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences

Estimated Salary Range
