Senior Building Surveyor Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in East Anglia.
The successful candidate will provide budget control for a mix of triple tenure sites, including private, affordable, and build-to-rent residential schemes.
Responsibilities
- Manage project finances, preparing and negotiating initial site budgets, subcontract procurement, and obtaining risk assessments.
- Undertake site visits and inspections, coordinating with management and subcontractors.
- Administer subcontract payments, variation claims, and final account settlements.
- Liaise with other departments and external consultants on cost-related matters.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the residential housebuilding sector.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and numerical skills, strong communication, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with construction contracts, building regulations, and industry standards.
