Job Description

Job Title: Senior Finance Business Partner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at BILSTEIN. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving profitable growth and identifying efficiencies within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries
  • Analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and reporting findings to senior management in the UK and Germany
  • Managing an end-to-end audit process – while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors
  • Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary
  • Prepare and Submit Payroll
  • Duty analysis
  • Annual statutory accounts alongside our Group Services Team
  • Inventory Management, supporting purchasing team and reporting to senior management in the UK and Germany

Requirements:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Excel, SAP, Sharepoint, experience
  • Experience creating statutory accounts
  • Experience of Accounts payable and Accounts receivable
  • You will have an accountancy qualification either ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Planning, forecasting, and budgeting knowledge
  • Experience running annual audits
  • Payroll experience would be advantageous but is not essential
