Job Summary

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Finance Business Partners to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional financial support to our clients.
  • Act as a true Finance Business Partner, delivering reporting in a clear and concise manner, and helping non-finance stakeholders to interpret performance metrics.
  • Support commercial activity by providing high-quality analysis and modeling.
  • Analyze commercial and operational performance areas, highlighting areas for potential improvement and providing commentary on key drivers.
  • Take a lead on budgeting, planning, and forecasting activity for projects, working closely with project leadership teams.
  • Conduct cost analysis and reporting, highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains.
  • Continuously improve processes and projects in line with wider business initiatives.
  • Prepare and present key performance statistics to senior-level operational stakeholders.

Requirements

  • CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified.
  • Analytical and innovative approach to solutions with excellent systems skills - Advanced Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to present information in detail and to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable business partnering experience.
  • Detailed commercial finance background in a large business.
