About the Service

The CAMHS Acute Care Service is a dynamic and innovative team, working to provide an alternative to inpatient admission for children and young people experiencing acute mental health difficulties.

We are seeking a skilled family therapist to join our team, working closely with young people, their families, and a range of professionals to provide timely, targeted assessments and effective interventions.

The successful candidate will have substantial post-qualification experience of specialist psychological therapy, a high level of competence in applying a psychological therapy to complex difficulties, and significant experience of working with young people and their families.

Main Responsibilities

Assessing and formulating complex cases involving young people and their families.

Developing and implementing individualized therapeutic plans.

Providing training and supervision to colleagues.

Participating in multi-disciplinary working and contributing to service innovations.

Salary and Benefits
