About the Role

We are seeking a Community Living Assistant to join our team at Capability Scotland. As a Community Living Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex disabilities in our day centre and community living services based in Dundee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with their personal care, dressing, medication, and mealtimes
  • Assist with daily living routines and care needs in customers' own homes and community
  • Facilitate attendance at school, college, appointments, and social events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, their families, and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals with complex disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a mix of early, late, and night/sleepover shifts
