About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Living Support Worker to join our team at Capability Scotland. As a Community Living Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex disabilities in our community-based services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with their daily living needs, including personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
  • Assist with daily routines, such as dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in activities and hobbies that promote independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a care or support role, preferably in a community-based setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • Knowledge of disability rights and person-centered approaches.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
