At ACES, we're committed to delivering exceptional and timely community emergency and routine ophthalmology outpatient services. Our team is dedicated to reducing waiting times for patients with eye conditions and providing care without the requirement for a hospital stay.
We use the latest in ophthalmic technology to consistently provide excellent clinical outcomes for all our patients. This role will play a vital part in our mission to have a positive impact on patients' lives by reducing overall waiting times in the health economy.
This is a practical 'hands-on' role with varied responsibilities including scrub assistant, anaesthetic assistant, pre-operative assessments, preparing patients for their cataract treatment and undertaking pre-screening diagnostic duties. Discharging patients with after-care advice and medications is also an essential part of this role.
Candidates must be NMC or HCPC registered with previous Theatre or scrub experience. We offer an industry-leading salary, no night shifts, and a state-of-the-art working environment.
In addition to your salary, you'll receive 29 days' annual leave per year, a pension scheme, paid professional fees, indemnity coverage, free laser eye surgery and intraocular lens surgery, free eye tests, discounted prescription eyewear and sunglasses, and access to our Optical Express friends and family discount scheme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organisation where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop within a professional working environment. ACES is an equal opportunities employer.
