As an Eye Care Assistant at ACES, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of clinical eye care. This includes assisting the surgeon during consent appointments and treatments, as well as undertaking the role of HCA in IOL theatre to assist the surgical team and patients during surgery and associated tasks.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care without the requirement for a hospital stay. Our goal is to provide timely community emergency and routine ophthalmology outpatient services using the latest in ophthalmic technology.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within an optical or healthcare environment and possess exceptional communication and presentation skills. They will also be able to absorb and convey highly technical information, demonstrate confidentiality, integrity and discretion, and have a valid UK driving licence and own car.
