Job Summary

ETS Technical is seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team as a Building Envelope Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and carrying out assessments of construction products and systems related to building envelope structures and structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and investigations into aspects of construction product/system performance.
  • Assess the fitness for purpose of products within contract periods and price estimates.
  • Manage multiple projects, preparing contract offers and estimates for the assessment of various types of construction products and systems related to facades, cladding, roofing, and/or curtain walling.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.

Requirements

  • BSc/BEng or above in a relevant engineering discipline (such as Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Technology, Mechanical Engineering, etc).
  • Experience working with facades, cladding, curtain walling, and/or roofing.
  • Experience in the construction industry, including materials (steel, concrete, timber), design, site, warranty company, building control, and product testing, fire engineering.
