About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to join our Rail Civil Engineering Design teams in the UK, supporting our Technical Directors and Design Managers to deliver a wide range of rail infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare technical design packages for rail infrastructure projects, including calculations, reports, drawings, risk assessments, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Design Managers to deliver civil and structural engineering design packages.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Network Rail standards and processes.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team, including support for Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
Requirements
  • Technical design skills in civil and/or structural engineering.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience of preparing design packages on Network Rail projects.
  • Awareness of Network Rail standards and processes.
  • Degree or similar qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering or related subject.
