Job Title: Stock Controller

Join our team at Focus Resourcing as a Stock Controller, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stock and consumables at the Leicester General Hospital site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the inventory of consumables on site, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Source non-stock products as required by the location, collaborating with suppliers to meet demands.
  • Configure inventory parameters to enable requisitions and direct ordering, streamlining the procurement process.
  • Process automatic and manual orders, including non-stock items, to meet the needs of the hospital.
  • Manage stock transfers, including ad-hoc issues and returns, to maintain a balanced inventory.
  • Expedite orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of essential products.
  • Process expense items, such as ordering and expensing stock for different floors with limited scanning facilities.
  • Inspect and manage the receipt of products, including trials, loan equipment, and consumables, after Consumables Group approval.
  • Implement quarantine procedures for product recalls, shelf life expiry, loss management, and physical returns.
  • Conduct cyclical and annual stock takes and reconciliation to maintain inventory accuracy.
