Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily lives of children and young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives, including education, leisure activities, and personal care.
  • Encourage and promote the independence and well-being of the young people in your care.
  • Participate in weekend and evening activities to support the children and young people in their interests and hobbies.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the young people by maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to the young people, including support with challenging behaviors.
Requirements:
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • At least 6 months experience of working with children or within a similar Social Care setting.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
