Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily lives of vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

About the Role:

  • Support the children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Attend weekend activities, holidays, and trips away with the children, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to the young people, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to minimize incidents and promote positive outcomes for the young people.

Requirements:

  • A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
  • An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature, essential for working in a residential setting.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • A valid UK driving license, enabling you to transport the children safely.
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
