School Unit Manager

We're seeking an experienced Unit Manager to oversee our catering and service operations for Chartwells in the education sector. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our units and service counters, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales through innovative service concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise teams to maintain high standards of food quality and customer service
- Oversee unit operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans
- Communicate regularly with line managers to track KPIs and targets
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to exceed expectations
- Support and train teams to excel in their roles
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in a similar sector or industry
- Experience managing teams in a similar role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Brilliant financial acumen
- Ambitious and motivated individual with a passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
