School Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Unit Manager to oversee our catering and service operations for Chartwells on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our unit and service counters, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise teams to maintain high standards of food quality and customer service
- Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans
- Communicate regularly with your line manager to track KPIs and targets
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
- Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales
- Liaise between customers and internal teams to exceed expectations
- Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone excels in their role
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
- Minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry
- Experience managing teams in a similar role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
