School Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering and service teams, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food and customer service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service
- Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including managing inventories and monitoring budgets
- Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
- Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales
- Liaise between customers and our internal teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectations
- Support and train our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
- Minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry
- Experience managing teams in a similar role
- Brilliant financial acumen
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
