About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diabetes Care Specialist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales. As a key member of our endocrine and diabetes team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert medical care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our clinical strategies and policies
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Participate in teaching and training activities to enhance the skills of junior colleagues
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills through continuous professional development

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration
  • On the specialist register and have CESR within 6 months
  • CCST GIM
  • Higher Post-Grad qualification
  • Minimum 4 years' training in an appropriate Diabetes / Acute Med SpR programme or equivalent
  • Familiarity with NHS
  • Ability to take full responsibility for clinical care of patients

Estimated Salary: £84,559 - £114,003 per annum
