Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team at Academics Ltd in Winchester. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our schools by supervising pre-assigned lessons and maintaining a productive learning environment.

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pre-assigned lessons in the absence of regular teachers, establishing rapport quickly with students, implementing effective behavior management strategies, and being flexible to cover various subjects across KS3, KS4, and KS5. You will also ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise pre-assigned lessons in the absence of regular teachers.
  • Establish rapport quickly with students.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies in line with school policies.
  • Be flexible to cover various subjects across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work.

Requirements
To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you will need to hold a UK recognized degree or have relevant experience in a similar role. You must also have the right to work in the UK, possess a valid enhanced DBS check, and be local to or willing to travel to Winchester.
