Rise to the Challenge with Us

We invite a motivated and compassionate Punjabi-speaking volunteer to join our Primary Care Assessment Team (PCAT), navigating patients into our integrated end-to-end treatment and recovery service, RISE. As part of this dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional provision from initial entry into RISE.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Support clients throughout their treatment and recovery journeys, fostering trust and open communication.
  2. Implement a range of interventions, including screening, assessment, pharmacological support, psychosocial support, cognitive behavioral based interventions, motivational interviewing, and onward referrals.
  3. Develop and execute targeted initiatives to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm among service users and the broader community.
  4. Promote active engagement from carers, service users, and community members, amplifying our collective impact.

You will enjoy flexible working arrangements, adapting to community needs while benefiting from regular supervision, reflective practice/clinical supervision, and immediate access to team guidance.

Essential Qualifications
  • Aged 18 years or older.
  • Subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
