Job Overview

This is a new permanent role in North West Wales, offering a unique opportunity to develop new and existing pathways of care for adults with complex communication, swallowing, and airway disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and develop excellence in clinical practice
  • Deliver advanced clinical assessment and interventions
  • Work clinically within Acute and Community settings, providing care to patients with altered airways, complex communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement SLT services into new pathways that meet the needs of this population
  • Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives, with a focus on developing sustainable SLT services
About the Role

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the opportunity to work remotely and directly within localities across your working week.

You will work alongside the Leadership and Management Group of the Speech and Language Therapy department, with service-wide responsibility for specified projects.
