Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to take on the role of Third in Charge at our busy day nursery in Addlestone. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the room leader and contributing to the overall success of our setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the room leader in the day-to-day management of the nursery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Lead and support a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS and Ofsted regulations
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years/Childcare
  • At least 2 years' experience of working in a day nursery
  • At least 1 year's experience of leading and supporting teams
  • Ability to inspire, energize, and support others
  • Passion for working with children and helping others learn
  • Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations
  • Firm knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements
