About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Respiratory Specialist Nurse to join our award-winning team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care to individuals with chronic respiratory conditions, including COPD, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary fibrosis.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, provide education, and support patients in managing their respiratory conditions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of respiratory care pathways and protocols.
  • Contribute to the education and training of healthcare professionals and students.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in respiratory care or a related field.
  • Experience in chronic respiratory disease management and patient education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
