About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Respiratory Specialist Nurse to join our dynamic and award-winning team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients with chronic respiratory conditions, including COPD, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary fibrosis.
  • Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, provide education, and support patients in managing their respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of respiratory care pathways and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current driving license.
  • Relevant professional qualification in respiratory care.
  • Experience in chronic respiratory condition management, ideally with a postgraduate qualification in respiratory care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
