About the Role

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer to join our client's existing team. As a Senior Database Developer, you will be responsible for the performance and security of the company's sizeable, high availability database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain current database architecture and design architecture for future migrations
  • Participate in sprint planning and research new data platforms to ensure maximum ongoing efficiency of the overall platform
  • Develop and implement database solutions to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database systems meet business requirements
Requirements
  • Extensive PostgreSQL knowledge and experience with database architecture
  • Proven background taking responsibility for database architecture, data migration, and Linux
  • Experience with MySQL, DevOps tools, and cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming languages like Python, Bash, Shell, C, and C++
