Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure PostgreSQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and security.
  • Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and capacity planning to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to support database-related needs and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement regular database backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and responsiveness.
  • Evaluate and implement new database technologies and features to enhance data infrastructure and support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Database Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and maintenance principles.
