Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer/DBA to join our client's existing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance and security of the company's sizeable, high availability database systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the development team and business analysts to develop and maintain existing systems
  2. Design and implement database architecture and ensure seamless migrations
  3. Deliver high-level system designs and participate in sprint planning
  4. Research and implement new data platforms to ensure maximum efficiency

Requirements

  1. Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and database architecture
  2. Proven track record of taking responsibility for database design and migration
  3. Strong knowledge of Linux and data migration

Desirable Skills

  1. Experience with MySQL and DevOps tools
  2. Knowledge of cloud technologies and scripting languages
