About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Dietetic Support Worker in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Whipps Cross Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to both the Adult and Paediatric Dietetic teams in a clinical capacity, including inpatient and outpatient work.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Work closely with dietitians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the provision of an excellent service, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
Requirements
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a dietetic or nutrition-related role.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and legible records.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, including the role of the dietitian.
