Language Empire is seeking a highly skilled and flexible freelance interpreter to work in various settings across the UK. If you have expertise in public service interpreting and can communicate effectively in English and another language, we encourage you to apply.

As a self-employed interpreter with Language Empire, you will be able to choose your own schedule and work from the comfort of your own home. You will also have access to ongoing training and support from our dedicated team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Interpreting in face-to-face, telephone, and video settings
  • Consecutive and public service interpreting
  • Liaising between service users and providers

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and another language
  • Upper age limit of 21 years old
  • Formal qualifications such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
