Classroom Support Professional

Class Cover Ltd is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in schools across the Chichester area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teaching staff to provide valuable classroom support and assistance to students, promoting academic and personal growth.
- Offer one-on-one support and guidance to students with specific learning needs and challenges, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring the best possible outcomes for all students.
- Support students' social and emotional development, contributing to their overall well-being and helping them to thrive in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 weeks of prior experience working in a school setting, with a genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their learning progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues, with the ability to adapt to various educational settings.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and taking initiative.
- Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and responsibilities effectively, with a commitment to providing the highest quality support to students and staff.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), with relevant qualifications or training related to Learning Support or SEN.
- Familiarity with various teaching strategies and educational interventions, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with best practices in education.
