Job Description:

  • Work as part of a dynamic estimating team to produce detailed estimates for various projects.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including project managers and site engineers, to ensure that estimates accurately reflect project requirements.
  • Utilize knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, or Fabric disciplines to provide expert advice on estimate preparation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and relevant legislation to inform estimate development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to promote excellent communication and build trust.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Construction Management) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in estimating for construction projects, preferably within the Mechanical, Electrical, or Fabric sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
