About the RoleThe Pro Talent firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Manager to join their team. As a key member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for managing a team who process multiple payrolls for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of junior payroll administrators.
- Identify operational issues and resolve them.
- Calculate correct amounts of pay including deductions, overtime, SSP, bonuses, etc.
- Deduct correct amounts of pension contributions, income tax, national insurance, etc.
- Run multiple payrolls across varying frequencies.
- Input related data for weekly and monthly payments into payroll software.
- Complete payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies in time-sheet and payroll records.
- Receive and coordinate HMRC notifications.
